Wednesday, a tour of the Bloomsbury area

The Bloomsbury area of London was famous as the home base for the Bloomsbury Group, a collection of writers (most notably Virginia Woolf), artists, and the eminent economist, John Maynard Keynes. We went on a tour of the neighborhood this morning. The picture above is a residence in Gordon Square where Keynes lived.

On Thursday, it's on to the Victoria and Albert Museum for our weekly art class. We'll learn more about the Omega Workshop.
